GTSC is a nonprofit, non-partisan association of innovative, agile small and midsized company CEOs that create, develop, and implement solutions for the Federal homeland and national security sector.

INTEGRITYOne Partners Wins Apollo Awards (2014)
Organized by Kathy Albarado, chief executive of Reston-based Helios HR, the Apollo Awards recognize organizations that invest in an intentional culture of continuous learning. This includes creating development opportunities for employees, as well as providing the resources for managers and employees to participate in a robust performance management program. Albarado says that all of the nominees demonstrate what she likes to call “a culture of intention,” meaning they are highly deliberate and thoughtful in their efforts to retain top talent.

In partnership with the Washington, D.C. metropolitan chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and SmartCEO Magazine, Helios HR selected IOP as a finalist for the Helios Apollo Awards.

IOP has been recognized by Washingtonian magazine as one of the national capital region’s great places to work. IOP was selected as one of the top five small consulting firms nationwide by Consulting Magazine in 2008. The magazine conducts an annual survey of consultants, representing more than 200 different firms, to determine the “Best Firms to Work For.” IOP placed fourth in the Small Firms Category (350 or Fewer Consultants). “We are delighted by this recognition of our team,” said IOP Managing Partner/Co-Founder Michael Waddell. “A firm can offer all the right raw materials—and we work hard to do just that—but ultimately it is people who make it great.” In addition to its overall top-five placement, IOP also placed especially high in the following sub-categories: Career Development, Culture, Work/Life Balance, Operations, Management, and Employee Morale.

IOP was named a Corporate Citizenship Award finalist by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC). The U.S. Chamber recognized IOP and a small group of other companies and business groups for making positive contributions to their communities, advancing important economic and social goals, and demonstrating ethical leadership and sound stewardship. IOP was named a finalist for the “Small-/Mid-sized Business Award.”
